Program Overview
The objective of the Agricultural Career Enhancement (ACE) grant program is to support agricultural career development programs at postsecondary education institutions serving Farm Credit of the Virginias’ territory, including those in agricultural sciences, agricultural technology, agricultural education, agribusiness, conservation and more.
Application Information
The application period for the 2024 ACE grant funding cycle has closed as of October 1, 2024. We anticipate award decisions will be announced in October.
Grants will be awarded for up to $10,000 in funding. For consideration, applications can be submitted online or printed and delivered to any branch location. Please attach a copy of your organization’s W-9 as well as any project support documents. Incomplete applications cannot be accepted; please make sure you complete all required fields prior to submission.
Eligibility Considerations
Funding will be considered for agriculture-related programs at postsecondary education institutions that are located in or benefit communities within Farm Credit of the Virginias' 96-county territory (including cities/towns located within the counties served by Farm Credit of the Virginias). To be considered for funding, organization’s values and purpose must align with the objectives of Farm Credit of the Virginias. ACE grants will not be awarded to individuals, private farms, cooperative extension or agricultural research programs.
